Why go: Two 19-hole candy-themed courses, one climate-controlled and one that climbs onto the roof, plus escape rooms and a pay-by-the-pound sweet shop under the same roof when the putting is done.

About Crave Golf Club

Crave occupies roughly 18,500 square feet on the Parkway between traffic lights four and five, and the whole building is built around one idea: dessert as architecture. Cliffs are made of cocoa, canyons are sculpted from ice cream, and the obstacles are gumball trees, giant lollipops, and crystalline candy stalagmites.

The golf comes in two halves. The indoor course runs 19 holes through the air-conditioned lower level and includes a Sugar Safari stretch populated by candy characters. The rooftop course adds another 19, starting at ground level, climbing a hill, and finishing on the roof of the building with themed zones including Rock Candy Mountain, Bubblegum Garden, and Jellybean Jungle. Played together the two courses total 38 holes.

Golf is not the whole operation. Two 30-minute escape rooms run on site, Zombie Research Lab and MAYDAY: A Deep Sea Adventure. There is mini bowling scaled for small hands with no rental shoes required. And there is a candy shop with a Jelly Belly wall, oversized boxes of Nerds and Sour Patch Kids, four-foot pixie sticks, soft serve, and a milkshake counter.

The venue also runs its own scoring variant. Playing Crave Style means spinning at each hole for a challenge or a prize rather than simply putting through, which changes the pace of a round considerably.

Getting to Crave Golf Club

Crave sits on the Parkway between traffic lights four and five, in the thick of the Pigeon Forge attraction strip, which puts it within a short drive of most of the city’s lodging. The building is hard to miss from the road because the rooftop course is visible above the roofline. The parking arrangement is not published, so allow a little extra time on peak summer evenings when the whole strip is busy.

Why Choose Crave Golf Club

Pigeon Forge is thick with mini golf, and most courses give you 18 holes and a parking lot. Crave is competing on breadth and on weather.

  • Rain does not end the visit. When the rooftop course is unplayable the indoor 19 is still open, which is not true of the outdoor-only courses up and down the Parkway.
  • Two full courses, not one. The combined ticket covers 38 holes across two genuinely different layouts rather than a single loop.
  • The rooftop is the draw. Climbing from the ground floor to the roof mid-round is something no flat course in town can offer.
  • Escape rooms and bowling on the same ticket counter. A group that splinters on what it wants to do does not have to drive anywhere.
  • Both courses are described as accessible. Wheelchair access on a rooftop course is unusual and worth knowing about in advance.
  • Open late in peak season. Midnight closing gives you something to do after dinner and a show.
  • Strictly dry. No alcohol is permitted anywhere on the premises, which keeps the tone squarely family-oriented.

Must Do

You could play one course and leave in under an hour, but that skips most of what the building offers. These are the pieces worth building the visit around.

  • The Rooftop Course. Nineteen holes on two tiers, starting at ground level, climbing a hill, and finishing on the roof with candy stalagmites and giant lollipops along the way.
  • The Indoor Course. Nineteen air-conditioned holes through cocoa cliffs and ice cream canyons, including the Sugar Safari stretch of candy characters.
  • Crave Style. The house scoring variant. Spin at each hole for a challenge or a prize instead of just putting through.
  • Zombie Research Lab. A 30-minute escape room, short enough to fit either side of a round.
  • MAYDAY: A Deep Sea Adventure. The submarine-themed escape room, the milder of the two if you have younger players.
  • The Sweet Shop. Pay-by-the-pound bulk candy with a Jelly Belly wall, four-foot pixie sticks, and soft serve, plus the milkshake counter.

What to Expect

Crave runs on a few house rules that shape how a round actually goes, and a couple of them will surprise people who have only played standard courses.

  • Book online to pay less. Online booking carries a discount against the walk-up counter price, and current hours are shown during the booking flow, which is the most reliable place to check them.
  • Group and pace rules. Groups are capped at six players, there is a six-stroke maximum per hole, and the course rules ask that putters not be swung above the knee.
  • The replay add-on. A Play Again option lets you take a second round the same day or return within seven days for a small additional charge.
  • Dress for the roof. Half the golf is outdoors and exposed. Rain checks are offered for bad weather, but the venue does not issue cash refunds.
  • Children under three play free with a paying adult, and there is no published minimum age for either the courses or the escape rooms.
  • Parties are arranged ahead. Packages cover a host, paper goods, and invitations for a set number of guests. Outside food and drink is not allowed apart from a birthday cake or dessert.
  • Round length is not published. Two courses plus an escape room is comfortably a half-evening, so do not stack it against a show with a tight curtain.
