Sweets
Dessert in Pigeon Forge is not really a course. It is the thing you go and do after dinner, on foot, usually with the whole group, usually well after dark. The shops on this page are open late for exactly that reason, and most of them are close enough to whatever you just ate that walking there is part of the appeal.
What they are not is interchangeable. Some churn custard on site the old-fashioned way. Others freeze your scoop at the counter with liquid nitrogen while you watch, built from a base and a flavor and whatever mix-ins you point at. There are funnel cakes and shaved ice for anyone who does not want dairy at all, and there is at least one counter pouring bourbon, rum or tequila straight into the ice cream for the adults in the group, with an ID check to match.
Bring the group, in other words, including the parts of it that do not agree. Family packs and party sizes are a normal order here, and at least one patio keeps water bowls and treats out front for the dog.
Why go: Churned custard, nitrogen frozen scoops, funnel cakes, and dessert with a shot in it.
Water bowls and all-natural dog treats sit alongside the picnic tables out front. Shaved ice covers anyone who wants something that is not dairy at all.
Family pint and quart packs arrive with toppings, bowls, spoons and an insulated freezer tote, and a preorder party gallon covers a crowd of forty or more.
Sorbet and vegan bases get the same flavors as the cream base, and a monthly flight of four small servings solves the problem of not being able to choose.
