Every year, several motorcycle rallies take place in Maggie Valley. Participants go on organized rides, listen to live music, eat tasty food, hang out with like-minded people, talk motorcycles, or buy and sell from official vendors.
The annual motorcycle rallies are famous and thousands of riders come for the camaraderie and the exciting riding adventures. The Smokies provide a beautiful setting for riding.
While Maggie Valley is great for motorcycle enthusiasts, there is more to this place than motorcycles. Each year the town plays host to a variety of festivals, arts and craft shows, and car shows.
In winter, you are invited to the local ski area to show off your skills at snow skiing. In the summer, watch the fireworks display at the July 4th celebration.

Where Is Maggie Valley?
Maggie Valley is located on the southern border of Great Smoky Mountains National Park about 30 miles west of Asheville, North Carolina. The historic town of Cherokee is 16 miles farther west and Bryson City is only 10 miles more.
If you choose to fly, the closest airport is the Asheville Regional Airport on I-26 south of Asheville.
