Smoky Mountain Bike Week

Smoky Mountain Bike Week 2026 | Maryville, Tennessee

This event has finished for now. It runs again each year, and this page will be updated once the next dates are announced.

Built for Riding First

Smoky Mountain Bike Week calls itself a rally for riders, and the schedule backs that up. Home base is Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson in Maryville, but the real draw is the set of roads within a morning’s ride: US 129 and the Tail of the Dragon, the Cherohala Skyway, the Foothills Parkway, and a long list of quiet two-lane roads through the Cherokee and Nantahala National Forests. The rally’s Ride Planner maps routes across the region. Guided rides are on the calendar too, starting on opening day with the Bluff Mountain Loop and an adventure-bike run from Caine Mountain to Santeelah.

This is the fourth year, and the event calendar now holds nearly 250 listings across Maryville, Alcoa and Lenoir City. Look through it before you arrive. Every ride and side event has its own page, and it is much easier to plan the week from home than from a parking lot.

Five Free Concerts at The Shed

The Shed Smokehouse & Juke Joint sits on the dealership campus, and every Bike Week show there is free. All five start at 7:00 PM:

  • Saturday, Sep 26: Gimme Back My Skynyrd
  • Monday, Sep 28: Whey Jennings
  • Thursday, Oct 1: Big Gun, an AC/DC tribute
  • Friday, Oct 2: Moonshine Bandits
  • Saturday, Oct 3: Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown

There is no cover charge. Food and drinks are sold separately.

Vendor Village and the Demo Truck

The Vendor Village at the dealership opens daily, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM. It is the place to look at suspension, exhaust, seats and lighting in person. The vendor list includes Vance & Hines, Saddlemen, Legend Suspension, Performance Machine, Drag Specialties, Memphis Shades and KST Handlebars. Breakfast and coffee are sold 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM, which helps before an early ride. A second vendor village sets up at Foothills Mall.

The Harley-Davidson Demo Truck brings the 2026 lineup for test rides. This year’s demo hours had not been posted when this was written, so ask at the dealership.

Ride-In Bike Show

On Tuesday, Sep 29, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, V-Twin Daily hosts a ride-in bike show under The Shed pavilion. Ride in, park it and let people judge. The awards are V-Twin Daily Pick, Rayvn’s Pick, and People’s Choice for first, second and third place.

Pit Stop Park in Lenoir City

The rally’s second hub is Pit Stop Park, around the parklet on E. Depot St. in downtown Lenoir City. It runs all week with local bands, food trucks, Tennessee Brew Works and a row of vendors. There is no charge and no ticket, and you do not need a motorcycle to enjoy it. Bring a chair.

Trailer Parking and Lodging

Plenty of riders trailer in and ride out from there. The rally lists trailer storage at Smoky Mountain Speedway Camping & Storage in Alcoa and overnight trailer parking at Bow Hunters Pro Shop in Maryville, with more options on its website. Late September into October is a busy stretch across the Smokies, so book lodging early. Schedules come from the organizer and can change during the week. Check the official calendar or call the dealership before making a special trip for one event.
