Two shops, both handmade, both on the downtown walk. Heavenly Fudge has been working copper-kettle recipes on Everett Street since 1976, and keeps ice cream on hand besides. The Chocolate Shoppe covers the rest of the territory, hand-dipped chocolates, fresh fudge, caramel apples, brittle and specialty popcorn. Either one is a reasonable way to end a day on the train.
