American Cuisine

Downtown Bryson City is small enough to walk, and four of its busiest kitchens sit within a few blocks of each other. Everett Street Diner is the breakfast institution, its own advice is to come hungry and come early. CJ’s Grille faces the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad with a covered deck, pool tables and live music. Wize Guyz Grille runs fourteen wing sauces alongside Angus burgers, pizza and pasta. Box Car Café hand-patties its burgers and hand-dips its ice cream. Between them you can eat from first light to last call without moving the car.

  • A lively bar and grill right across from the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad with a covered outdoor deck, pool tables, live music, and some of the best wings.

  • Box Car Café & Cones serves hand-pattied burgers, hot dogs with homemade chili and slaw, thick milkshakes, and hand-dipped ice cream in a 1950s-themed diner.

  • Bryson City's most beloved breakfast spot, ranked among the top restaurants in town. Please come hungry, come early, and expect to leave feeling like family.

  • Wize Guyz Grille on Main Street serves Angus burgers, wings in fourteen sauces, pizza, pasta, and a full bar from a spacious downtown location with a patio.
