Marc and Ann recently visited Sevierville to gather information for a transportation themed show. The destinations included Floyd Garrett’s Muscle Car Museum, the Tennessee Museum of Aviation, and Sky High Air Tours located at the Gatlinburg Pigeon Forge Airport in Sevierville.

Floyd Garrett’s Muscle Car Museum is home to more than 90 of the coolest muscle cars in the world. We saw a number of Camaros, Mustangs, 442s, Corvettes, Trans Ams, and too many others to mention. Marc and Ann both talk about their favorites.

The Tennessee Museum of Aviation’s War Birds Collection was amazing. Their 35,000 square foot hanger is loaded with war planes, helicopters, and vehicles from past wars. It is also home to hundreds of artifacts from WWII,  the Korean War, Vietnam War, and others. The piece on display from the USS Arizona was moving.

The Gatlinburg Pigeon Forge Airport is where you will find Sky High Air Tours. Marc Hightower is the owner/pilot of a vintage 1927 Waco Model 10 Straightwing biplane. Lean about the air tours available in this historical plane.
