The goal of My Smoky Mountain Guide is to help visitors discover everything the Smoky Mountains have to offer. Local business owners are essential to that mission.

You welcome our guests, provide hospitality, products, and experiences, and help make their vacation memorable enough that they want to return. Without you, the trip does not happen.

We promote local businesses because we succeed only when you do. Our family is dedicated to making your business known to the people who visit our site so you can turn those visitors into customers.

What Businesses Do We List?

We focus on businesses local to the Smoky Mountains region. We occasionally include select businesses outside the immediate area when we believe travelers would benefit from knowing about them.

We review every business before adding it to the directory. We only list places that families on vacation would want to visit. We do not list businesses we consider morally offensive.

Primary categories include:

  • Food & Beverage – Local restaurants, breweries, wineries, distilleries, coffee shops, dessert shops, and similar spots. We prioritize independently owned locations and generally do not list national fast-food chains.
  • Attractions & Entertainment – Local tourist attractions such as Dollywood, Anakeesta, The Escape Game, Impossibilities Magic Show, Soaky Mountain Waterpark, and others.
  • Outdoor Adventure – Activities including ziplines, golf, adventure parks, horseback riding, helicopter tours, and more.

If your business fits one of these categories and is not currently listed, please let us know. We are happy to discuss adding you.

How Much Does It Cost?

  • Directory Listing – Free. We do not charge local businesses to appear in our directory.
  • Paid Promotions – Available options include:
    • Social media posts that reach our followers
    • Newsletter features
    • Featured placement at the top of relevant category or town pages
